I love podcasts! I spend a minimum of one hour in my car each weekday. I find the time is more pleasant if I am listening to a podcast. I have found podcasts to be both informative and entertaining. There are a few I listen to regularly. These are available on iTunes and via the linked websites. Happy listening!
Masters in Business with Barry Ritholtz
Barry is a Wall Street veteran with an amazing passion for finance and investing. He attracts some of the most sought after guests and engages them in a tremendous way. The podcasts are usually extended past the typical 30 minutes, which allows the guests to relax and speak casually. Barry truly has a gift for getting his guests sharing information that you will not hear in other media. Some of my favorites are Cliff Asness from AQR, Anthony Scaramucci from SkyBridge Capital, Charley Ellis, Jeffrey Gundlach, and a host of others. Tune in and you will not be disapointed.
Entrepreneur on Fire with John Lee Dumas
If you have ever considered being and entrepreneur or perhaps an intrapreneur within your company, this is a great source of information and motivation. John Lee Dumas (JLD) has created a 7 day a week podcast where he interviews a new entrepreneur each day. He gets a variety of guests from all walks of life as well as all over the world. Each podcast is about 30 minutes and is packed with great information.
Tim Ferriss is the author of the 4-hour series of books. His first book “The Four Hour Work Week” was a runaway seller and lead Tim to a cult-like following. He is an unusual dude how always seems to speak his mind, regardless of who he may upset. His guests span a wide range, but they are definitely experts in their chosen fields with a lot to share. His interview style is entertaining, although some of his guests can get pretty deep into the weeds. Some of my favorite episodes were with people I was not really interested in hearing about. Tony Robbins, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Peter Thiel, Bryan Callen, and so many others were awesome!
